I promise when you do these 5 steps in the next 5 days, you’re going to BODY every NEW YEARS NEW YOU resolution you’ve set out for 2020.

Have you ever thought about what 2020 means?

20/20 means PERFECT VISION!

So, this year it’s all about creating CLARITY with the perfect 20/20 vision to see our best life and the best way to execute and manifest that new lifestyle we’ve always wanted.

HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?

In 2020 how do you stay motivated? You don’t, you stay DISCIPLINED. The dangerous part about motivation itself is your emotions dictate it, which can be dictated by your circumstances. Discipline is way more powerful because it’s determined by your MIND, which dictates your GRIND to overcome any circumstances and WIN no matter what!

YAAAAS Lovestyle Warriors, this year is going to be sooooo completely different, because we’re moving past just motivation on day 1 of a new year. We’re about to be DISCIPLINED as all get out in creating new habits that change our entire lives.

We’re going to:

Create a NEW BODY (NATURALLY!!!)

Secure the NEW BAG (MONEY!!!)

& Manifest the NEW DREAM & NEW LIFE we’ve always wanted.

LAY THE FOUNDATION/SHARPEN THE AXE

Before a skyscraper is built 400ft in the sky, architects spend countless hours mapping out the massive foundation below the ground to sustain it. Before an NFL Game, coaches spend countless hours doing an exhaustive assessment of their own internal strengths and weaknesses, in addition to the opponents.

Abraham Lincoln stated, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” So before you hit the gym, pursue that new job promotion, or launch that new online business – I want you to take the first 5 days of 2020 beginning on Day 1 to lay your foundation, sharpen your axe, and properly assess and map out all it will take to achieve your new life goals starting in 2020 – with these 5 steps.

5 DAY/5 STEP BREAKTHROUGH TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE IN 2020

#1 DREAM:

Answer the Dream Question:

If you could be anything in this world, and you knew it would make you absolutely happy and fulfilled every day you wake up…WHAT WOULD IT BE?

This is one of the most important questions you can ever ask yourself. As kids we answer this question every day, but as adults we stop. Why? Because we stop believing in the Dream. We forget how to Dream.

Before you do anything this year, awaken the Dreamer in you. Give yourself the license to be a kid again and answer this question for yourself?

“If you could be anything in this world…what would it be?”

#2 VISUALIZE

Answer the Vision Question:

What does your dream goal look like, in detail and in color?

Visualize your success in the moment of manifesting this dream. What does it look like! Like RIGHT NOW! Close your eyes, lay back and imagine succeeding and winning at this one thing you want to be and do most in this world.

Child…I have already written my Emmy speech! I know what dress I’m wearing, who I’m thanking, and who I’m inviting to the after party (Ummmm Beyonce & Oprah are on this short list…4 real 4 real! At one point during the party we’re dancing and singing Formation lol)

When you visualize the dream enough, you want to accomplish it sooooo bad because it becomes sooooo real. You can feel it, you can taste it, and you become more willing to do everything it takes to accomplish that goal.

#3 FACE YOUR FEAR

Answer the Fear Question:

What has stopped you from pursuing or accomplishing this dream goal?

Whatever that answer is, it’s all because of FEAR – and it’s paralyzing you. This is the beginning of the breakthrough, breaking down those walls of fear. People stay at a miserable job they hate because of fear. People won’t call a sibling to make up for an argument they had 10 years ago because of fear. Fear will make you feel happy and content…when you’re really just settling – and deep down your spirit is miserable.

Uncage your spirit. Be bold, be courageous, be ALIVE! In the words of the GOAT Michael Jordan, “Limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.” Face your fear and overcome it, because Lovestyle Warrior – that fear is not real!

#4 PREP PREP PREP

Answer the Prep Question:

What will it take to accomplish this dream goal?

The PREP is the GRIND before the GRIND, and the WORK before the WORK. You are uncovering the HOW to your dream goal, which is arguably the most important step!

Exploring this answer takes research, which takes time. This is a 5 Day and not a 5 minute breakthrough process because of this step…the PREP! Here’s where you begin to really lay the foundation and sharpen that axe.

Before any HS student takes the SAT, they should always take an SAT PREP CLASS! Whenever I cook a big meal for a Pop Up Event (10 city tour going down in 2020 Whooop Whooop), holiday dinner, or even the weekly dinners for my family…I put just as much time into the actual PREP beforehand, as I do the actual cooking. This PREP time is also necessary for calculating and activating the work required to accomplish your dream goals.

Here’s the Prep questions you need to research and answer:

a.     What’s the goal?

b.     What’s needed to start the goal?

c.      Who are successful at want I want to accomplish & what did they do?

d.     How much work will it take?

e.     How much will it cost?

f.       Is it really for me?

Once you research and calculate everything it will take to accomplish this goal, you must be honest and ask yourself “Is It really for me?”

I can want to dunk all I want. I can watch all the YouTube videos and do a gazillion calf raises a day, but at 5’3 on a good day at this point in my life that’s not happening. So, it’s ok to be realistic, as well as honest with yourself about if you’re willing to do all the work it takes to get the results of accomplishing that dream. Is it worth it?

g.     Why or Why not?

Henry Ford said, “If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.

So that “Why” validates what will or won’t happen. It’s all up to you.

#5       CREATE & EXECUTE PLAN

When you do Steps 1-4, especially when you lean in heavy with the PREP Step 4 in sharpening the axe, chopping down the dream goal tree becomes way more doable. You’ll know what to do, why you want to do it, and just as importantly HOW!

Once you determine how, and create a new lifestyle to achieving it, that dream goal resolution won’t just be for the “New Year.” You won’t just become a beast on January 1st, 2020, and then fall off before the end of the month. You’ll be that unstoppable Lovestyle Warrior in Beast Mode through January 1st, 2030, and the rest of your happy and successful life.

In the words of the great poet Ice Cube, “YOU CAN DO IT…PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT!
